BioResource Management will provide biomass services to power developer in Florida

BioResource Management, Inc. (BRM) announced today that it has executed an agreement for biomass supply services with a Florida-based company to develop combination power plants using biomass and other fuels. The agreement includes potential projects throughout the US, and financial participation in the successful financing of facilities.  Initial project efforts are in Florida, Washington state, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina and Alabama.

BioResource Management awarded a contract to provide wood and yard waste recycling services

BioResource Management, Inc. (BRM) announced today that it was awarded a contract with Leon County, Florida to recycle its wood and yard waste being generated in the
county, which includes Tallahassee and other cities. Under the terms of the
agreement BRM will further process the existing stockpile of ground organic
materials, manage the site located on the landfill, and market all resulting
products.  The estimated annual volume of the site is 18,000 tons per year. BRM and its personnel have over twenty years’
experience in processing recycling wood and yard waste in Florida and throughout
the US.

BioResource Management to provide biomass consulting to major US independent utility

15, 2008. BioResource Management Inc. (BRM) has entered into an agreement with
NRG Energy Center Harrisburg to conduct preliminary biomass power feasibility
for its facility in Harrisburg, PA. Under the terms of the agreement BRM will assess the availability and price of materials suitable for use as biomass fuel in NRG’s Harrisburg
facility. NRG Energy is a Fortune 250 wholesale power generation company
headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey. They own and operate one of the
industry’s most diverse generation portfolios that provides nearly 26,000
megawatts of electric generating capacity, or enough to support nearly 21
million homes. BRM is a Florida based company with experience since 1983 in
analyzing, developing and facilitating biomass feedstock supplies.  Its experience includes operations throughout the US and internationally, including the operation of facilities producing over 1.5 million tons of biomass per year.
Past and current clients include Fortune 500 companies, state and local
governments, and technology start-up companies.

BioResource Management to provide biomass consulting services to recycled fiber mill group

BioResource Management, Inc. has entered into an agreement with one of the largest recyclers of recovered fiber as well as one of the largest manufacturers of recycled paperboard in the United States to conduct preliminary biomass power feasibility for the company’s Georgia mill group.  Under the terms of the agreement, BRM will assess the availability and pricing of materials suitable for use as biomass fuel under co-firing and conversion of an existing boiler scenarios.  BRM will also be tasked with sourcing and procuring suitable biomass fuel for co-firing trials once the project moves forward.
