BioResource Management part of team that receives $2.7 million renewable grant award

BioResource Management. Inc. (BRM) announced today that as a member of a research team it was awarded a Renewable Energy grant from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. As part of the Florida Biomass Energy Consortium (FBEC), a $2.7 million grant was awarded to help commercialize wood gasification technology at energy using industries in Florida. BRM’s role will be in analyzing, procuring and delivering necessary biomass feedstock supplies for the project.  FBEC’s proposal was one of only seven proposals selected for funding, out of over 130 submitted applications.
