BioResource Management enters agreement with largest national landowner for biomass development services

BioResource Management, Inc. (BRM) announced today that it has entered
into a long-term agreement with Plum Creek Timber Company, a Seattle-based
Fortune 500 company that is the largest private forest landowner in the world.
Under the terms of the agreement BRM will provide consulting and management
services related to Plum Creek’s developing efforts in bioenergy markets. “The
selection of BioResource Management for this agreement shows that Plum Creek
has confidence in our experience and our ability to examine the market
potential on a national level,”, says Richard Schroeder, President of BRM. “We
have been involved in biomass energy nationally for over twenty-five years, and
we can add both experience and resources to assist in fully utilizing the
potential of Plum Creek in the supply of biomass throughout the US.” Plum Creek currently owns or manages over 8 million acres of land in 24 states.
